Ackadia's archives, covering our start in 1998 to the present day.

Ackadia has been gradually growing since 1998 and covers news, views and resources on computers, web design, games, education and general interest. The main emphasis of the site however is web design and the IT industry from a consultants eyes view.

Essentially, Ackadia is a huge help-file for my family, friends and any and all visitors. It is updated as often as I can and will eventually hold over 10,000 pages of information.

If any of my links are broken or start with pop-ups and "inappropriate" adverts please let me know and I will remove them instantly. Ta!

Needless to say, for obvious reasons the archives are left warts and all, with the annual revisions general starting late spring - May usually. To preserve backwidth etc, I've limited it to the home page, mostly.

  Reorganised menus to be more intuitive and user friendly
  Optimised file names, titles, headers and content for improved search engine ranking
  Broke down pages to load faster, less scrolling, easier to read
  Vastly improved consistancy for look and feel for all pages and sections
