Internet, Web Author / Editor: £25,500 pa
Consultant positions and contract salaries are considerably more.


A study conducted by Fairfield Research and Certification Magazine shows that getting certified can lead to a 12% increase in salary or close to a $6,000 raise!

CompTIA A+ gives an 11.1% increase!
MCSE gives an 12.6% increase!
CCNA gives an 16.7% increase!

Multiple certifications directly correlate to pay increases. With one certification, the average pay was $53,000, with five certifications, it is $62,000, with ten, the average pay was $75,000.

Many (IT) businesses require A+ Certification as a prerequisite to hire, requiring new employees to attain the A+ Certification within 90 days to continue employment. Many hardware vendors will only allow A+ Certified Technicians to perform warranty service.

There are an estimated 620,000 unfilled jobs in the U.S. alone. Due to this shortage, there are many potential jobs for i-Net+ / CIW certified individuals including:
