What is this font?
Ackadia 3D is based on a 1940's font I found in Routledge's Font Encyclopedia.
It is similar to helvetica with cut-outs to give a 3D effect.
A friend of mine at used to make customised car and
bike number plates and wanted this effect he'd seen done with screen printed number plates.
This is the result. At the moment it's strictly A-Z 0-9 and is designed
with vinyl plotters/cutters using 3" lettering. That said, it works at all point
sizes, though it really wants 24 point and up.
It was designed using CorelDraw and exporting .EPS files into Fontographer 4.1
One or two of the paths are a bit rough, but I'll work on these as I go along.
At some point, subject to interest, I'll add the full 255 character set.
Registration and Licensing Agreement:
Ackadia 3D is shareware.
You can try out this font for free for one week
(please do not use in publications, etc., during this week), after which
if you continue to use the font commercially, you accept the terms and should send register.
For non-commercial use, it is (optionally) £0.00 ($0.00), but I do ask that you register, if only for me to
see how popular it is. See the registration form for further details.
Font design is not easy and this represents many hours of work drawing, editing, testing and re-editing.
If you register, besides having a legitimately licenced copy and, perhaps, soothing
your conscience, you will help support the development of quality shareware. In addition, you will also be entitled to a peek
into things to come; I'll also put a link to your website - subject to it's contents.

You may distribute this font, as long as you include all 6 of the files with which it came,
