Really must get my act together. I'm thinking an articel on RSS belongs in the web design section and I will get round to it one day, but for now here's a few figures I've picked up:

Apparently 88% of Internet users don't know what RSS technology is and 96% of Internet users stated they do not use it! That said, 27% of Internet users actually do experience RSS feed content on their My Yahoo and MSN web accounts, even if they don't understand it as such! More to the point, some 4% of Internet users actively use RSS feeds.
Basically, even though most folk aren't aware of it largely due to automated feeds from free blogs, nearly a third of people do actually read these feeds. Food for thought, eh…
