A word on the game

Update June 2005
I still didn't get the time to write the solution but to be honest the game was extremely linear and I'd be surprised if anyone had a great deal of trouble solving it to the end. Not that I didn't enjoy it, it just wasn't a challenge.
Update September 2001
Been there, done that, got the expansion to play get I get a spare minute. I've yet to type up the solution so if you get stuck, just ask. The answers are all in my head.
Awaiting release of this game. Hopefully it will be released on Friday (16th June 2000) and I can start work on it.
Growls... Hopefully it will be released in the UK on 30th June 2000....
Finally got my hand on it and am progressing well.
The game itself is horribly linear which detracts but the sounds and animation are brillant - apart from the Ettin which to my eyes have a plastic look.
In my head at least I've marked at the places folk may linger but I'll me replaying it again shortly to mark all the spells and magical items to be found. Even noted a tie-in the "Torment" in the form of a potion - never found a use for it find...
A few hours later...
Well, that passed two days! Now to await Baldurs Gate II and the others
Far, far to linear a game, but I enjoyed in for the most part. The end fight is ridulous though and after trying a dozen times I gave up. Level 10 characters aren't hard enough nor can you return to other areas and bulk up on Exp. points.
Basically, the final Demon is rock solid and as soon as you enter the room summons two Iron Golems AND dispels all magic, then summons other uglies as you are trampled. If it was turned was, yes no problem, but in real time have your party is dead inside three rounds.
I'll write it up when I reply shortly but in the meantime e-mail me and I'll help you out.
