Introduction

As my children are 11 and 8 you can be sure this general section will become massive.

How early to start them?

I took Ryan into work day one and left him by a PC. Just three at the time (almost four), my son turned on the computer, by-passed the (laughable) Windows password protection, logged into my ISP and found the BBC's "Thomas the Tank Engine" site, using the Favourites menu of Netscape.

The office staff were dumb-founded, but there again, he's had his own Pentium (and better) since he was two...
