Introduction

Interesting fact number one:
I have practically no long or short term memory; this sections utterly wasted on me! Still, every now and then I read some interesting bit of trivia and make a note of it. When I was younger I used to make a point of buying old books about 'things our granny knew' and weird and wonderful, if mind bobbling laws that have never been repealed, or the average attention scan of a goldfish (in whose category I languish).

Anyway, while I can, between everything else I want to squeeze in before I die, I want to gather all those yellowing bits of paper and put them up here. Sure I can just Google and get them all in a second, but where's the fun in that. Besides, who do you think put all that digital clutter on the Internet but fruitcakes like me.

Some things will get put here, then grow to their own categories, the rest are my 'wall of wired' and all those facts you only use once or twice in your lifetime, but when you want them, can you find them…
