Introduction
As a point of interest, a long time ago I was a freelance photojournalist. How long is long? Well, stupidly in retrospect, I sold all my Nikon F3's, lenses and equipment to buy an i386 with a monochrome screen and a full 2Mb of memory...
When I get round to digging them out, I'll copy up some articles and quizzes for your general interest. In the meantime, I'll start adding links and bits of news as I want to get back into photography, if only to take more pix of my children.
We have a Kodak digital at present but I really don't rate it so I've treated us to a Nikon F55 SLR. Naturally, the F65 is tastier, but as I want to get a
Nikon D100
, why spend the extra, hmmm.. I did have a play with the Nikon D100 first but at £1,800 (March 2003)... (Down to under £1,100 December 2004). Eventually settled on the D70 in the end as it was half the price!
Finally got round to adding a Photo gallery of my own, using Bharat Mediratta's open source Gallery software.
