Apparently, the further bees travel from the hive, the less likely it is to rain or thunder later that day.
When I was a child we had these activity packs for car journeys and one of them was pictures of clouds for you to find and tick off, and what weather was tagging along with in. Fast forward 30 or 40 years and it's a quick link to get the weather for the next week anywhere on earth. One way to book your last minute holidays I guess.
