Note:
These are worth from 200g up to 1,000g each as they can be traded for merchant items such as Superior Salvage Kits or, in the case of Trade Contracts from Vabbi, rare gems like rubies and diamonds.
Quest rewards were new to Factions and carry on nicely with the Nightfall capaign. They work in the same way as other collectors though and can be traded for within the main town(s). They are not dropped by anything, but given to you are a reward for completing quests.
Trading them in:
These traders generally have the same items as regular Merchants and that in itself should give you an idea as to the value of these items. The value will depend on the usefulness of the items to you, and the level you are in, but as a rule of thumbs…
[1] is worth around 100g and will get you common essentials like identification kits, salvages kits, bags…
[3] are worth around 500g to 600g for other merchant items like superior identification kits (100 uses), expert salvage kits, runes of holding
[5] are worth up to 2,000g for a superior salvage kit (100 uses) or gold experience scrolls.
[7] (in Vabbi) are worth 7k or more as these can be swapped for a rare ruby, sapphire or diamond
All will get you chest keys, the value and number of credit needed being appropriate to the area.
Personally I think people are silly to sell them, but if you do, always aim for the best price - about 100g to 150g for Battle Commendations, through to 600g to 800g (or more) for the Vabbi Contracts. Don't get fleeced!

Note: The Kouran pendants, dropped by Kournan soldiers, can also be traded for blue or gold XP scrolls with Collectors Mubata [5] and Sinbi [10] in the Command post, Sunspear Sanctuary.
