Starting your own Guild
Introduction
I'll write this up shortly, have to sort some other things first, that and sort through hundreds and hundreds of screen grabs.
Ackadian Friends and Helpers Guild [Help]
My Guild…
OK, I couldn't think of a better guild name, but the [Help] will hopefully be the real strength behind this new guild I have started. It is a command, a desire, a mission statement and our prime directive all in one. At a subconscious level I hope others will see the name and do so. This guild is all about helping each other and being polite and helpful to others. Strength in unity.
Actually, like many other guild masters, I got fed up. It has a total of one member now, me!
Guild Benefits
- Hall, cape, web site and forum, obviously
- Polite, helpful staff and members
- Team farming and quests, subject to availability of players
Getting a decent, well balanced group together for some quests can be horrendous. There are a few, harder quests where you are talking days to succeed without good help! - As available, high level weapons and focus items from collectors will be given to players.
* I don't consider this begging. I am quite happy to get the likes of a Cruel Staff or Holy Staff for active members on request. (Remember you can further upgrade with grips, wrappings etc)
Saves you paying silly gold for one advertised in the trade or open chat.
Guild Rules
- Be polite
- Don't beg for money etc
This will be frowned upon!
(However, see benefits*) - Don't flame
- Don't Spam messages or use capitals unnecessarily
- Don't cuss or swear.
Ideally not in open chat either, but never in the Guild chat. This includes acronyms and abbreviated expletives. I won't tolerate it from my children and I don't want to see it in the Guild.
Gratuitous swearing is a banning offence!
There is no GvG planned at this time, though it will be an option as the player's membership base increases.
Subject to time, interest and thinking up a good URL, I will probably set up a dedicated web site for the uild.
