Changes to Ackadia made around 2002

Been silly busy with college so the site has been neglected a lot. Over Christmas I'll try and try catch up. The Computer section is currently being tidied and expanded with a number of new pages added and revised. I might add a Javascript tutorial to the html section. Over the next six months I'll be working a number of web assignments including a search engine, forum, chat room and e-commerce. While the latter has no place here I will add the rest in the summer, if not sooner. Meantime with the demands of college, the best I can promise is to update the news and keep an eye on DDR-II and Serial ATA technologies which should hit mainstream by the end of 2003.

Oh aye, Merry Christmas!

Didn't think I'd get much done this summer but as it happens I'm not doing so bad. A number of bad links have been removed and several hundred new ones added, along with several new pages including help with the game Neverwinter Nights Solution, hobbies - starting with Photography and another on Consumer Rights and legal resources.   A number pages in the computer section are being revamped and added too as well. The Kids pages and reference area are lined up for a lot of work too. So much to do, so little time, eh!

Began my annual revision of the Wishlist computer. Looking good, but cutting edge is hard on the wallet!.

Also started revising a number of other pages, especially those on education. It will take me about a month, but it will be worth it.

I have just checked all the links in the HTML section thought. I'm not sure which is the worse, the shear number of broken links, the fact that a number of respectable sites have gone, or that half those that are left want money up front for the stuff they used to share. I'm jaded I guess. I remember the net when it was fresh and the suits and bean counters weren't involved...

I have been updating, but college work and such is tying me down. The latest addition which I reckon folk will find useful is IT Component Prices which will record spot prices for memory, hard drives and such, recorded over time.
