- AUGUST:
- 22nd: Admitted to Whiston
- 23rd: First tests
- 24th: Lost requests
- 25th: Nada!
- 26th: Zip!
- 27th: My birthday.
- 28th: Nothing to report. Still!
- 29th: Getting really annoyed now
- 30th: Drew a blank!
- 31st: Month draws to an end - Whiston does NOTHING.
- SEPTEMBER:
- 1st: Finally getting somewhere. Left me ranting though!
- 2nd: Nothing It's a Saturday, you don't acually want treating in hospital. Goodness me, no!
- 3rd: Exasperated with Whiston
- 4th: Still nothing getting done. Moved to another hospital.
Royal Liverpool University Hospital
- SEPTEMBER:
- 4th: Finally tranferred to the Royal. Sick as anything!
- 5th: On nausea, scans and on being probed!
- 6th: Awaiting scan results, mostly.
- 7th: Kidneys are degenerating
- 8th: Probed AGAIN!
- 9th: Quiet day
- 10th: Quiet today too, it being a Sunday.
- 11th: Consultants ponder my baffling condition.
- 12th: Neurological issues ruled out.
- 13th: Getting worse, it seems
- 14th: Faulty plumbing blamed.
- 15th: On constant thirst.
- 16th: Saturday, nothing doing.
- 17th: Blood pressure improving.
- 18th: Doctors en mass
- 19th: Looking at surgically inserting stents.
- 20th: More scans and probing!
- 21st: Removing the catheter.
- 22nd: On fickle surgeons
- 23rd: Procedure explained
- 24th: Quiet sunday.
- 25th: Blood clot after surgery. Owwww!
- 26th: Grumblings
- 27th: Kidney operation - under a local anesthetic. Ouch!
- 28th: Sick as a dog!
- 29th: Ruddy tablets! (tosses them in the bin).
- 30th: Better! Flaming pills!
- OCTOBER:
- 1st: On polyuria
- 2nd: Nothing doing!
- 3rd: Terrible hospital food!
- 4th: Easy surgery, poor hospital service.
- 5th: On the mend - and more hospital canteen issues
- 6th: Catheter moved Otherwise, nothing
- 7th: Another quiet Saturday.
- 8th: Sunday, nothing doing
- 9th: Could be released soon
- 10th: Angry with junior doctor. Brief history, medical notations.
- 11th: Stupid junior doctor!
- 12th: Freed - after piddling in a bucket!
