Thoughts on thirst

Observation:
Yesterday the consultant asked if I was feeling thirsty all the time as I am passing 1l a day more than I am drinking
(Yes, they monitor every drop I pass!)
It occurs to me, having woke up at 5am thirsty (after passing another 1.1l) that for a few weeks before I come in I was thirsty all the time - hence my original concern I had diabetes, that being one of the signs. If I was severely dehydrated, despite the copious amounts I was drinking, I assume it would also explain the constant lethargy and need to sleep.

MRI scan, with radioactive iodine dye injection, was scheduled for 2:45pm. So mum arranged specially to visit at 1pm. Sod's law that they moved the scan forward to 1:20pm!
I passed mum and dad on the ground floor as they wheeled me down…
