What we require, and why.

What I am hoping and looking for is appropriate sponsorship. Appropriate being relative to the sites content, and ideally to the the item(s) we want. Subject to lengthy negotiation^*, I figure on running a banner advert or perhaps 'sponsored by…' button advert or byline, for a month, or more likely a year in return for whatever.
^*(OK, we can just haggle!).

I can't speak for your margins but as a guide to value, look to the genuine usage graphics, and consider I am looking to increase these figures tenfold once I upload these pages (June 2005) and finish the revisions. Then, as I build up content and popularity, a further tenfold more within another year or so.

My friends are generally incredulous at my cavalier attitude - especially given how much I can charge a day for consultancy - but at the end of the day I mostly certainly am not a businessman to be feared, at heart I'm a geek with creative aspirations. I just want to make this place a legacy for my children and an inspiration to the rest of the world.

The banner above is my 'Alternate ad'. By default Google shows public service ads if no targeted ads are available. If you are interested, this could just as easily be 'your' advert. True, it will be untargeted and, to be honest, intermittently seen as best, but it is set to be the default replacement on every page on every site I control… Naturally, as long as it's suitable, it could equally appear as the default on all pages - or select pages.
