Introduction

HTML is dead, long live XHTML. Or even XHTML 2.0, which is out in a while.

I suspect there's still a use for the old stuff like this, beyond the history aspect, if only because college courses have this tendency to be reserved in glacial terms.

Anyway, feel free to look over this tutorial for the basics, but be assured as soon as I've finished this years (2005) make over I will be concentrating on extended tutorials on style sheets and correct use of XHTML, with the emphasis on valid, accessible code
