I can't talk, I forget to use this half the time myself, but I do make sure all my characters get to at least Artisan (225+) as fast as possible. If the healer is dead and the tank taking a beating you could be all that stands between the party getting wiped out just as you get to the last boss

Notwithstanding the crafting needs for linen, silk etc you really should turn your cloth into bandage as fast as you get them.

Apprentice:
(1) Linen bandage : restores 66 health over 6 seconds
(40) Heavy linen bandage : restores 114 health over 6 seconds


Journeyman:
(80) Wool bandage : restores 161 health over 7 seconds
(80) Anti-venom : cures poisons up to level 25
(115) Heavy wool bandage : restores 301 health over 7 seconds
(125) Can learn Expert from book [Expert First Aid - Under Wraps] (see below)
(130) [Manual: Strong Anti-Venom] : cures poisons up to level 35 *( very rare world drop)


Expert:
(125) Buy the book [Expert First Aid - Under Wraps]
Auction House or (for Alliance) from Deneb Walker in Stromgarde Keep in the Arathi Highlands.

(150) Silk bandage : restores 400 health over 8 seconds
(180) [Manual: Heavy Silk Bandage] Heavy silk bandage : restores 640 health over 8 seconds
(210) [Manual: Mageweave Bandage] Mageweave bandage : 800 health over 8 seconds


Artisan (Requires level 35):
(Alliance) Train with the Trauma surgeon Dr Gustaf at Theramore.

(240) Heavy mageweave bandage: 1,104 over 8 seconds
(260) Runecloth : 1,360 over 8 seconds
(290) Heavy Runecloth : 2,000 over 8 seconds


Master (Requires level 50)
